Dr. Ken Moritsugu
After the opening of the J&J Diabetes Institute in Beijing during the Olympic Games in July, we had the chance to sit down with Dr. Ken Moritsugu, Vice President of Global Strategic Affairs at J&J's Diabetes Franchise. Dr. Moritsugu has a wide range of experience, including his role as former Assistant Surgeon General of the United States. His perspective on the global state of diabetes is an incredibly valuable one, from our view, as he understands patients (he has had type 1 diabetes for over X years) as well as healthcare provider as well as payor as well as government challenges. We were lucky to speak with him about the recent opening of Beijing's JJDI as well as more broadly on the state of diabetes today.
